Marked For Greatness

Life is filled with detours, dead ends, and challenges of every kind. Our character is a reflection of our journey. We would not be who we are today if it was not for our experiences in our lives. Many of our paths may not have been as clear as the next person’s. Frequently we have suffered twice as many trials and more than twice as many hurdles to get over to accomplish the same result. I believe outstanding achievements are usually born of boundless sacrifice and are never the outcome of selfishness. Trials are often the instruments by which God modes us for better and marks us for greatness! By reacting to trials in the grace of God, you will experience the power of God’s love.

Defining Moments

Life’s crisis forces us to sink, swim or float. The person you were before the situation no longer exists. When facing a problem, the hardest thing to realize is that you could never go back to the way things were.  At 20 years of marriage, my soulmate was bombarded with a “Midlife Crisis.” He decided that his current wife and family no longer fit inside of his new life. I had found myself left behind. My life drastically changed overnight. I discovered that crisis teaches us how to give ourselves permission to let go of things that are beyond our control. Life’s Defining Moments forces us to open ourselves to refocusing our energy into the things we truly care about and explore what our lives stand for. I concluded that God’s grace and love are available during our most turbulent seasons, and it will show you how to live an everyday life once again.

Defining Moments

It began with a breakthrough.  In interspecies communication.  Leading both John Clay and Alison Shaw through a series of startling discoveries and life-altering revelations.  Divulging who we really are as a species.  Why we are here…and who is here with us. And the greatest lesson of all, that our brains are not as rare and unique as humans had assumed.  But rather just one of three brains between three extraordinary species.  All influenced by a fluke of evolution and something that should never have existed on Earth in the first place.  Something we are now finally on the verge of understanding. It will take more than just one brain to do it.  More than just one species.  And courage from all three. Courage in the face of those still trying to stop Clay and Alison before their stranglehold on the world is lost.
